Looking for a helmet thread...

I read a post (almost certainly here, but maybe on BF, discussing helmets. One of the last posts was a link to an expensive carbon-fiber helmet, with a "I want one of those" caption. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I have tried multiple searches here and on BF with various keywords and I can't find it, though I did find a bunch of other helmet threads...

I'm sorry, but "Impact Racing" is a really, really bad name for anything, especially safety equipment. How about "Fuzzy Pillow Racing" or "Walk Away Racing"?

FWIW, what I'm hearing is that professional race car drivers who aren't required to pick a helmet based on sponsorship tend to gravitate to the Stand21 line.

You and Dan talk too much

According to Carol Smith (Drive to Win) Simpson is the ONLY helmet to buy (of course it was written in ~1994.)

Didn't BMW make a CF helmet?

Based on the title of this thread, I thought for sure Rumatt was the thread-starter.
