Watched an F1 race for the first time last night (SPOILER)

Wow. F1 is cool. I still can't get over how many g's those cars must pull. And of course, they are fast. Damn Ferraris finished 1-2. Montoya's car crapped out in the last couple of laps and the MB-McLaren engines suck.

Just awesome overall.

I got the speed channel a couple of weeks ago. Just in time to watch Sebring. That was fun too.

$6 well spent.

There were some exciting moments, despite the seemingly predetermined outcome. It was wild when Ralf almost flipped after making contact cutting off Weber(?). And watching Kimi's McLaren turn into a flamethrower was quite a sight.

Televised auto racing is usually pretty boring.

I didn't watch the entire race, only when the Red Sox season opener was in commercials (that one sucked  ). Still, being my first time, it was pretty cool. Certainly a lot more fun than NASCAR. It also didn't last too long.

I'm not saying I've just become a fan, I'm simply saying it was cool to watch.

I wonder what JPM is thinking now after almost all the McLaren engines blowing in the last 3 races...
