I'm still waffling on whether or not to attempt this myself, but if I do, this should help immensely.

I thought long and hard about doing it myself, but in the end I decided that I didn't want to mess around with the spring compressor and cutting the shock bodies, especially since I was going to have to take the car in anyway for an alignment afterward.

Yeah, I need an alignment as well. I need to find a new independant shop. The dude at Autobahn told me he hates Konis and is generally annoying to deal with anyway, but everyone else goes there. I'm hesitant to let a guy with a "chip" on his shoulder regarding Konis do the install.

I'm going to get a quote from Turner.

Update:

Turner is installing the Konis. They mentioned that not putting springs in while they have it apart seems like a waste. I'm inclined to agree (I suppose).

Any suggestions?
