Just bought a pretty cool car

I just bought a pretty cool car ... the same as ff has ... it's a 2007 S2000 in black with black interior.

This is the first time I bought a car I never ever drove in my life ... in fact besides for seeing them being driven I do remember sitting in one once at the dealer. I have no idea of how the transmission feels ... heck does it have power or manual seats

I am hoping it comes with satilite radio so I can still listen to Howard Stern ...

Bought it on ebay for $22,800 plus shipping ... it has a little over 8,000 miles.

BTW I should add ... this is the pic from the current owner/auction I don't expect to have it for 1 to 1 1/2 weeks ...

Here is a pic ...

Congrats. Buying one without driving one is a bold move--they are a bit polarizing. Many people adore them, but others (myself included) find the engine tiresome. I've always liked the wy they look, though, and the shifter feel is hard to fault.

Hope you like it.

I thought ff had the boy racer CR edition?

Hope you enjoy it. They're fun cars and really unlike anything else as an overall package.

I love s2000's. Pure, no options. A great company like Honda goes out and builds the best they can.

Congrats!

I test drove this exact color combo in October of 08 (an 08 model, different wheels).

Light clutch, legendary shifter, nice steering feel - very little adjustments (wheel can't be tilted or telescoped). Frenetic engine, decent ride (for a sports car) and a hell of a lot of fun - but needs to be a third car, IMO.

Still, you've got a whole summer with which to have some fun

Think of it this way, you'll be driving the automotive equivalent of a Marshall stack set to 11 - where it's happiest.

This fits well for me it is gonna be a 4th car ... I have been looking for a low mileage perfect 2000 to 2003 NSX but they are hard to find plus it kind of worried me buying a car 7 to 10 years old.

I am very excited to get this S2000 ... from the write-ups I know its going to be a fun car.

I seem to remember new S2000s selling in the mid 30's...? Certainly a decent amount of car for the money, but there are reasonably low mile AP1 cars (2000-2003 which I kind of prefer) for low to mid teens and higher mileage cars closer to $10k. They're a tremendous bargain in the used market.
