No. Alas. Bad left knee. I would still like one more manual, but it would have to be a weekend car.

Miata? Z4 LCI?

Gotcha. Yeah I think its hard to beat a Miata or maybe a BRZ/GR86 for a fun weekend car. I guess I've never been a big Z4 fan-- my issue with it is that its ultimately based on a BMW sedan platform, and as such just lacks the fun of dedicated sports cars. Probably better off getting a 2 series convertible instead of a Z4 since you'd get some addtional practicality in the bargain (but I realized you've already been there done that).

It would need to be a convertible. The answer is Boxster, but that may not align with my retirement budget in the near future--even used. Frankly, nor does a second car of any variety.

I am still eyeing the GR86. Local dealer had one sale pending with 10K of markup stuff so it was 40k So still waiting for them to be available..

Oh wow - yeah I can’t stomach paying markups either. 10k on a 30k car is insane

The new 6 speed manual has my ears perked up though.

Yep...i keep hearing that the car market is "softening" but not really seeing any evidence of that yet.
