Anyone know someone they trust to look at a car in Shelby township, Michigan

There is a car I’m interested in at a bmw dealer in Shelby Township in Michigan.

Does anyone know someone who they feel they could trust their opinion on a used car ?

One of the i8s they’ve got?

For what it’s worth, while it may technically be Shelby township, people are likely to have a better idea if you say rochester hills.

Unfortunately, while I know a bunch of people in the area, I wouldn’t trust any of them to look at a car.

I actually have a molded products plant out in Shelby Twnship, but none of the guys I'm close to out there are car buffs. That I'm aware of. PM me and I can see if I can find somebody to help out.

Pm sent Josh ...

Yes JST I am looking at the white i8, it is almost exactly what I want but it seems like in the end I will need to settle in some way when buying used, I want the white with the blue trim this car is white with the grey trim.

I was thinking I could always get the trim wrapped.

AF, fly out and take a look at it yourself! Spend a night downtown in Detroit. You’ll have fun.

Try this place, looks amazing but I haven’t had a chance to stay there yet.

That hotel does look really nice thank you for the link.

I would fly out but but this week I have too many things happening and if I get a good report back from someone I’d put a deposit on it to hold it.

I always figured a car being sold at a bmw dealer especially an i8 would be a nice clean well kept car or the dealer would not take it when it’s turned in but yesterday I drove a local i8 with only 5k miles on it and the car was a mess, the interior was very messy with sugar in one of the storage trays, also had scratches all over it, door chips from other cars hitting it, etc. What a disappointment I thought the car would be perfect.

lol...are you sure it was sugar? That's strange for a BMW dealer trying to sell a low mileage high end car without properly detailing it.
