What changed my mind is this accumulating set of evidence that suggests the 992 will be the last fully ICE 911. I suspect the 994 will always be some hybrid mixture and the 998 will be full on EV.

To me, it could the water cooled 911 equivalent of the 993 (last of the air cooled 911s). This makes it worth it to get new.

Second, with this timing (some unknown time in 2023), it gives me time to see where this crazy market is going. And maybe a net benefit is that it normalizes (doubtful) and more 992s come into the CPO market and I don’t have to wait as long?

Nota bene: i equipped a GT3 touring with PTS (220k) and plus the ADM —i’ts a $320k proposition.

Which, as odd as this sounds, makes the GTS a reasonable bargain.

You can see that 2020 992S cars and 2019 991.2 Targas are going for 163k as CPO models.
