Interesting Poll... I voted no because of styling (assuming e46 out of production). I went to the AZ auto show over Thanksgiving... and did not even bother to stop at the BMW booth...

I'm starting to think about replacing my car (an '01 325Ci)... going through the decision now of do I keep it past warranty expiration or not. Stay tuned for an upcoming post about this dilemma...

If I do decide to replace it, the list to look at is currently fairly short, but rather diverse:
TL (even before AWD is avail)
Boxster (new design)
E320 CDi

I think I pretty much will forever be done with the entry-luxury cars.
Interesting! I thought you were happy with your car. I think we both feel very similarly actually. I am not "unhappy" with my car, but if I were shopping again right now I seriously doubt it would buy it again.

I don't necessarily blame this on the car though. From the time I was originally car shopping, my priorities have changed. That's not the car's fault.

I won't be getting a new BMW. I really wanted to like the new 6 Coupe, as I had high hopes for an M6 in my future (as a second car, keeping my wagon). But after seeing one in person at the NY Auto Show, I'm not interested. If the M6 makes it to the US at all, I'll check to see if BMW has dealt with what I consider the major flaws (styling - the rear end mostly; interior quality / layout; I-drive). Of course, BMW is adamant that those are features, not flaws, so I don't have a lot of hope. But by the time it makes it here I may be in a Porsche already.
