Mustang classed FS, officially

Maybe I missed this someplace else, but this month's SCCA mag was the first official confirmation I'd seen of the 2K5 Mustang being put into F Stock. Should be a hot ride there, though as clyde has pointed out the 2K6s will be a much better choice, given the option of wider wheels.

Also in the mag: The Ford GT is excluded from stock. Damn. Now where am I going to run mine?

I wonder if the new Z06 will also be excluded, or if they'll just throw it into SS and allow it to destroy everything else there.

There will be more of these supercrazy cars coming out in the near future. Where will the SCCA put them all?

They are making GS faster. That will filter up.

I have actually gotten past my initial enthusiasm for the Mustang to be content to wait until next year (when I'll hopefully at least have a better idea of GM's new F body cars), but I think that's more a factor of knowing that 17x8 wheels are not enough.
