Selecting cabriolet starts to launch it into the stratosphere, alas.

That is not bad… Far less than the one I built in the same color combo @ $155k.

All this talk re Carmax forced me to run the F15 X5 to see what they would offer. Low per KBB by $5k for a private party sell.

So, one other thought for FC—you could call one of the power sellers on BaT that handles consignments and see what that would cost. Obviously would take something off the top but would also potentially be low effort and get a higher end result.

Meccanic Shop North (@1600veloce) sells on consignment, moves a lot of cars on BaT, and typically does nice presentations that bring good money. And they’re not that far from Boston.

You are right that generation doesn’t get the full surround, the front cameras on that model are for when you are at an intersection it allows you to see what is coming down the street from both sides, it is also good for when you are backed in a parking spot and are pulling forward, these cameras allow you see what is coming down the aisle on both sides.

Only the current generation 3 series has the full surround cameras.

Great exterior color choice, also I see you picked the high black gloss trim, I don’t think I’ve seen that in person yet, I would think it would scratch easier than the regular black trim but it probably looks really good.

Good idea! Dean Laumbach is another well known consignment seller on BaT.

Correct. And no amount of detailing will fix that.

That's a thought. Thanks.

I think our definitions of the word "detailing" must differ.

Perhaps. But the large imperfection in question is wrapped in Xpel, so I think that is out.

As far as minor stone chips, they are very small.
