Because it was the color of a taxi, or because chicks thought it was a cabriolet?

Color of a taxi, I'm guessing.

I was behind another Model S on the way in to work this morning -- it had the following plate:
BATTCAR The Model S was white -- would have worked better on a black car... And I also saw an S on the way in to work yesterday too (a blue one)...

I'm going to take the Tesla in to get registered on Friday.
I'm going to get a personalized plate -- but now debating between a couple ideas. The one I hinted at above is still avail (which I'm amazed since Tesla owners in CA, NV and VA already have it). But I had another idea this morning -- and it has a double meaning so might be even better. Here's the ideas: KWH2MPH -- which is the one already taken in multiple states. Really good for an electric car... THINKON -- this is the new idea. I'm of Scottish descent, and its the motto for my clan -- so has personal meaning. It also would work really well on an electric car! Any thoughts or votes?

KWH2MPH is good, but kind of on the nose. UNPLUGD and REVOLT are probably already taken. EDSNSUKS? And I'm still partial to COALPWR |

UNPLUGD and REVOLT are taken. REVOLTD is avail though -- but not for me... EDSNSUKS would be a bad idea considering my employer (Edison founded it...). Its also 8 charachters... COALPWR is avail. But that would draw the ire of other EV owners
