I'm not sure if I think of lag in terms of "rpm" or in terms of "time after throttle increase". Perhaps a combination.. How about this crack at a definition? Lag is the time delay in response that depends on rpm, current & recent past throttle (determines boost level). I'm just making up a function that sort of expresses how I experience lag.
