It's nice, but I doubt it's worth $19k with 120k miles on it.

Say what? I suppose it's awesome compared to the V, but I hardly use that as a mileage standard. I got like 19/23 the M3. I got 21/30+ with the 330.

I got approximately 10.6 MPG on my most recent tank in the RX-8.

Maybe I need a new engine.

Looking back over my fuel records:

MPG Low: 18.4 MPG
MPG High: 30.3 MPG
MPG Avg: 23.3 MPG

Over 41,187 miles of ownership.

Methinks something was wrong with yours - I didn't exactly baby the car.

I agree, but you can't blame the guy for trying since he's dropped $9k in the car just recently.

Another good reason not to ever go mod crazy unless you plan on keeping the car for a long time or stripping and selling the mods seperatly.

It's hard to justify dropping 50% of the car's value in mods.

the thing i miss the most about the STL BMW club is the easy access to gateway int'l raceway for DEs. and that they usually co-run them with the PCA. it's fun to see how well the e36m3 does when mixed in with all manner of 911s.

anyway. i digress.

this car has 120k miles.

are you guys insane?

You got 30 in an M3? Wow. I never saw anything close. I didn't baby it either, of course, but I didn't get anywhere close. I will have to check with the new owner and see what he is getting.

What have other people got? Anybody?

Never check, just put gas in when it needs it. =P
