(On cars for which Manthey is an option) (If you can mix and match CXX with Manthey) (It’s clear I don’t know how this stuff works)

Manthey is dealer installed via an authorized Manthey dealer. Similar how Dinan former was, maybe it still is? Once Steve Dinan sold it off I stopped caring. |

I would totally take this! The color combo is great and I absolutely love that heritage interior.

lol, when I first read the listing I thought it said 10,000 miles and I was like “well at least someone enjoyed it.”
Uh, never mind. |

Think you could have fun in a very customized GTS manual. With same interior package. And wholly customized. Yes, I’m sure the power delta is noticeable, but the GTS was made for the engine for which it is paired, whereas the Sport Classic just sounds like a lot of timing being pulled from the engine to manage torque to not destroy the transmission. Of all of the limited run cars, this is the one that makes me the most ‘meh’. The Turbo/Turbo S engine sounds like a vacuum cleaner still.

I generally don't get these cars. With the crazy pricing and limited production they all become bubble cars for the super rich. What's the point? To taunt the mundane wealthy masses by showing they can build great cars but only a select few can have them? To me, these are in practice no different than a $1M car. Who cares? You are just going to at best baby it and at worst stare at it. That's why I respect the 911T and the 718 4.0. It's the closest to actually giving "the people" a good attempt at a great car without asking stupid money. EDIT: I should add the GT3 to that list, even though it is getting pretty darn expensive. The only recent special 911 that really speaks to me is the 991 Spyder (and maybe the S/T). And for the 991 Spyder I’d really have to wonder whether it’s worth the cost of three 718 Spyders or whatever.
