Nope - Not a tii.
I have a Weber 38DGAS carb installed.

I purposely did NOT get a tii.
As much as I would have liked to, even back then the tii was a potential pain to tune right. Special tools, special procedures... and most importantly - finding someone who could do it right were challenges even back then (just 10 years after the car was built).

And - with the tii - you can not really do anything to the engine to modify it.
With my changes to my engine, I am approaching the power of the tii and have never had any issues of any kind - and most importantly, anybody familar with older BMW's can work on it. Espcially me.
