I just watched it. Interesting spec.

Seems more performance oriented. No advanced drivers pkg or leather and the first one I have seen without the adaptive LED lights. It does have the big rim and tire pkg.

As I thought the black helps hid the awful busy rear diffuser and the black huge side skirts.

I took delivery of my ‘01 E46 330Ci prior to the official launch date. It was the launch car spec’ed to my specs as well. It happens more often than not.

I thought it looked good in black, but I will never own another black vehicle having owned two.

Same on the black car front. This is one of the first light color cars I have ever owned. Believe me if the F87 was available in a nice dark blue I would have gone that route!! But I can say wow, this car is so much easier to look at longer between washes.

That said when you got your 330 in 01 it was a different world before YouTube influences had to be silent before the driving embargo date. If you are just a Joe Blow 2 series buyer that is not making money off of their channel you can post all the 0-60 and driving impressions you want as soon as you drive the car off the lot.

I can’t stand that guy either. He does the WORST reviews and for working for BMW BLOG does not know his product very well.

That said the glossy rear diffuser and huge black side skirt just look horrible in anything but black.

Also that interior is such an upgrade!! WHY can’t that be at least in option on the first year G87!!

100% all around with the above!

BTW, I am fairly confident that guy is the head honcho of BMW BLOG.

Also one thing I have noticed on newish performance cars lately. When and WHY did rear diffusers get so huge and now boy racer ugly. Remember the refined body colored versions on the old M cars. The new G series M3/4’s are just massive black boy racer items and I fear the G87 will look the same. Gone are the understated performance looks.

This came from my comment about the M240i diffuser.

I will say I never liked the rear of the E9X M. It’s just odd. I think I like the E46 and F80 the best.
