A coworker got a model-3 (non performance) and wrote this as part of his review on an internal forum.
I didn't know driving them through walls was a problem. Quote:

I thought the acceleration was very easy to modulate, some gas engines have worse tip in(right word?). Regen was a bit tricky to do smoothly but got it within 5 minutes.

Yeah, I didn't have any concerns over the throttle either.
But I guess if you pull a "shit, hit the wrong pedal", the consequences are worse in a tesla. |

I'd ask you what it's like to work with total fucking idiots, but I already know.

As for Chill Mode, my S60 didn’t have it, and I haven’t tried it in the 3 yet.

The 21s cost $400ish mounted at the dealer, each. I have no idea how long the tread lasts, since I’ve so far gone through 3 with either punctures or blowouts. But the fourth one (that’s still on the car) has lasted about 8500 miles so far.

Sorry is my post wasn’t clear. The annual fee model for CarPlay starts on 2019 models I believe. If you have an older one where you paid the option price built into MSRP you should be good with no extra fees down the road.
