I'm really lucky to have a great indy mechanic for both BMWs and the Porsche (different shops). The Porsche guy is within walking distance of my wife's work and the BMW shop is maybe 5 mins from my office. Honestly, they are one of the biggest reasons for my brand loyalty.

This interior is a preview for the 992.2………..

(No thank you)

Second JV’s thoughts. Exterior is not too bad.

Agree, but seems like this is the way of the world.

Well. If it is, then I’m doubling down on what we have now.

I note that the current Macan and current 718s have the standard 3 ring driver interface. And I like it.

I could get used to the digital interface, but I just don’t like it.

Not really that different from a 992.1 in spirit if you think about it:
1. That passenger screen is optional so you dont have to have it
2. Still has a row of toggle switches ( so not 100% touchscreen like Taycan).
3. Still appears to have normal air vents (none of the touch screen only controls like Taycan).

Would be nice if they kept the analog tach in the 992.2...but the rest of the cluster is already screens anyway.

Yep… thankfully the passenger side screen is optional. Guessing the same will apply to the 992.2?

BTW, I wish Porsche would get the configurator operational. It has been down for two days. My Rep said I could come in and we could spec one. I much rather do it from the comfort of my living room.

I do like one of the two new blues offered, Montego Blue. BMW offered to Montego Blue back in the day. I seem to recall it was available on E90s.

Yes, Montego Blue was available on the E90s; I had a Montego over black 335.

I do recall that I almost ordered my E90 in Montego, but chickened out and went with the launch color, Sparkling Graphite.

Anyways, the above photo is pretty much how I would spec the Cayenne exterior. I think that I would change the chrome window trim and roof rails to black though.
