I think it's fair to say we officially have a "Carmudgeon car"

Very cool. I pondered it when Josh was selling it but I couldn’t make it make sense.

While we’re passing cars around, anyone want a low mileage E46 M3?

Ha! Fantastic. Will the E36 M3 go?

Congrats Zach !! What are the details on this car … I am just curious, miles, year, etc. I think the only thing I know is it’s an S model with a manual and after market suspension if I remember correctly.

2006 Boxster S, cobalt blue over sea blue leather, maritime blue top. 6 speed manual, 3.2L engine. Ohlins Road and Track struts. Not sure how many miles it has on it now!

I bought it in 2010 after TD posted a link here to it. The thread is still around somewhere. It was an off-lease car then, with about 30,000 miles on it. Still had about 6 months of warranty left at the time.

Thanks everyone - we love it so far. E36 stays - it lives at the red house in CT. Boxster is going to stay in Boston for the most part.

That’s funny, because I found TD’s M3 for him…and possibly Rumatt’s Cayman R and Josh’s E36 M3?

I am losing track! At any rate, car finding and swapping is now a proud Carmudgeon tradition.

I bought two cars from the same guy!

Little comments from this community matter! I still recall that I had not considered an LR4 until, IIRC, SARAFIL suggested it. I love that SUV! 10 years ang going, hopefully forever.
