Enter Rennlist or bimmerfest in the promo code box on the website (it’s the actual promo code) and it applies the discount

Ok thanks I appreciate it.

I have posted here about Fidelity warranties … they are my first choice, the one on the R8 paid for itself multiple times over while the 911 only had one claim and none of them were ever a hassle … if anything it was like having the factory warranty.

I’m going to check it out for the Cayman which is out of warranty in July with a whole 5,200 miles on it.

My X5 is under the BMW platinum warranty until May 2024 and currently I do not want to spend the money to purchase a G05 LCI so I may purchase the Fidelity warranty. Total ownership would put me at 10 years. I am hoping the next Gen X3 will be a step in the right direction and sway me to pull the trigger on the alleged M50i, yes still a 6 turbo.

oh wow- seemed like you'd decided to get the LCI G05 already...

I'm in a similar boat w/ our car. May purchase this warranty as well.

Less than 10k miles is best pricing on the Fidelity warranty. Seems like they care more about mileage vs. model year so you should be able to get good price based on mileage. I believe next big mileage cutoffs for pricing are 25k and 35k.

There are other things I much rather spend $50k on. The G87 M2 will eventually be one of them. Edit: Still waiting for an allocation. At this point I believe I would prefer to wait for the 2024 MY change over in late August, early September. Additional colors are allegedly coming for 2024. We’ll see.

I hit 8200 miles last night on the ‘17 X5. I still greatly prefer the F15 M Sport exterior styling, but I do greatly prefer the tech and interior of the G05. No real reason to upgrade other than wanting something new. The N55 is known to have issues, but not until 75k+ miles. Truth be told it will never see that during my ownership.

Extending the warranty is for less expensive than purchasing a new X5. It really is a no brainer…

Edit: We will see what happens when G05 LCIs begin arriving next month. The new car temptation might worsen.

Yep makes sense. One of the reasons I backed out of buying an x5 back in December.

Are the year/mileage limits on thise fidelity w warranty quotes relative to when you purchase the warranty or relative to the total mikes on the car and when it was purchased new?

Fidelity warranty time & mileage starts from purchase date & mileage at that point.

Wow - the quote that SCA shared seems to good to be true then. 4K for an additional 10 years and 120k mikes!! He should definitely buy that warranty and keep that x5!
