Hm. It was fun; if you’ve got a free morning, it’s not a bad thing. But I would manage your expectations. It was hard to get street test drives because the lines were so long. The “autocross” course let you open the cars up a bit, but the cars they had for that were the i4 and 330 hybrid, neither of which is really an autocross car. What I found interesting was that the 330 was actually more fun on the course because it’s 1000 lbs lighter.

The Brooklyn Grey color is not my thing. Looks unfinished, frankly. Would much rather have red or blue.

It’s a little hard for me to understand how this car is some 300 lbs heavier than the F80 M3. But if I didn’t already have the M3 it’s definitely one I would consider.
I think it’s a big win that they still make this car. And with a manual.

I hope enthusisasts buy up this car so BMW keeps on building them.

The blue seriously sucks! Edit: I will elaborate… I saw the car in blue last fall. It is a terrible choice for a launch color.

I have watched all the reviews. The better YT reviews. Not in order.

What is considered to be the most negative review from Throttle House is getting plenty of attention in the G87 forum. Throttle House ~ 2023 BMW M2 Review // 2 Fat 2 Be Furious https://youtu.be/5uT4s_NWBN0 26 mins

Added a pic of a HEA Zandvoort Blue that was recently delivered.

I’m not going to watch all of those reviews. I watched the Throttle House one.

I guess we live in an era when even a 2 door entry level BMW weighs 3800 pounds, eh?

In a round about way BMW has stated for what it cost for them to acquire significant weight savings, they rather just throw power at the problem. It is a less expensive solution. Edit: Only the CS/CSL models get weight reductions and the entry fee is nuts. Furthermore, getting an allocation for either seems to be a struggle as well.

Reviews have been positive but does sound like a slightly smaller m4 and basically weighs the same. More refined and stable, better car for us old farts nowadays

All the electronics sound a bit much but I guess you do not need to use, roll down of windows based on gps location Just dont want them going haywire.

When Mustang weighs less is when I shake my head.

I don’t get that aspect of things.

I’m sure the car drives fine, but it’s a far cry from the smaller, nimble M2 of years past, it seems?

To be fair, that’s been the formula since the 1m came out : cram the underpinnings of the M3/4 into a smaller body.
