368 U.S. HEAs dropped a little while ago. They are all status 150+ therefore not modifiable. Ours is currently at status 165 and I have passed on it given that it is the horrible Zandvoort Blue and more importantly, it is an automatic.

Edit: It would appear that most of the HEAs were produced with the automatic.

U.S. and international press have been rotating in and out of Phoenix/Scottsdale for the past week or so test driving the G87 M2 as well as the XM. The press embargo for the M2 reviews expires April 2.

I am still waiting for my allocation, #1. The HEA spec should be arriving soon. I was initially offered it and declined as it is ZB and auto tragic. All the HEAs were unmodifiable.

I am all for flared fenders but I hate to admit that these might be too much.

Having seen the car in person, I dig it! Very reminiscent of the E30 M3 boxed fender flares.

cool, I need to see it in person. I am a fan of the e30 m3 flares, my 2004 WRX always reminded me of them.

A plethora of G87 M2 press reviews coming tomorrow at 6 PM. Supposedly that is when press embargo expires.

Screenshots from Facebook of the demo cars on a carrier in South Carolina.

Initial reviews are pretty positive. I saw one in person at the BMW Ultimate Driving event yesterday and it looks better in the metal than in the pics. The proportions and the flares are quite striking.

It’s a little hard for me to understand how this car is some 300 lbs heavier than the F80 M3. But if I didn’t already have the M3 it’s definitely one I would consider.

how was the event? They're doing it here in a couple of weeks and I am debating going.
