A neighbor in my hood owns a used car lot. His driveway is a mix of personal use cars, and lot overflow. (usually 5-6 cars, and he has 2 swappable dealer plates)

About a week ago a few year old Buick version of the Equinox appeared in his yard. I'm not sure if he has just gotten it from auction, or removed it from his lot, but EVERY surface on it has been keyed.

I haven't stopped to ask him about it. I'm guessing it was last owned by someone with a bad break up. Every door, quarter panel, hatch and hood has the work FAKE keyed into it as well as just random, deep key damage everywhere.

Also its shifter has Low gear right below Drive, and I always seemed to start off there. With the BMW, you pull the shifter all the way down to hit Drive. Having to pay attention and stop just before Low is not great UI.
I’m a GM loyalist. And i so badly want for them to get the powertrains matched to their core bread and butter vehicles.

But i wonder if they did their typical GM research and customers were so price conscious about fuel costs that they went with the 1.5T?

Because on the road, that engine is The Suck.
