The 991 isn't *that* much bigger than a 987

Could be wrong but I think it’s actually that subtle green color called aventurine green like this 992

Yes. That’s what I thought. Much more subtle in real photos versus the configurator.

I’m going to weigh in here and say that I think the rear end styling of the 992s is hideous to me.

The rear red reflector that goes the entire width of the rear of the car looks stupid to me.

The 991s look better. And I guess what I’m reading is people are treating the 991s with a manual and NA engines as the new “it” cars —whereas this used to be the 997’s hallowed ground.

I drove the 987.2 a bunch today. Wow. So much more involving to have NA power and a true manual.

….except for those moments when I want lots more power.

This is what I have. Mine is a 2012 1/2 991.1 S manual with Sport chrono, sport exhaust and a bunch of other options with only 16k miles …being an original owner car with some warranty still on it I would think someone would love to get their hands on my car and I sometimes think I should sell it … I barely drive it …. Maybe I put 300 miles on it since February.

Then I think about it again and think why sell it it’s not like there is another car I want and it just costs me insurance and maintenance each year.

This car is going to accelerate in value, IMHO. Because it’s NA power.

Once Porsche moved to DI, the 3.8L power plant is amazing.

What a beautiful spec 997.2 C4S manual.

Great classic dark blue / black with the super nice Carrera sport wheels.

Very nice! Wish it were a coupe, too, so I wouldn’t be tempted!
