Seems like big money, and it's weird that the tires are square but the wheels aren't.
Sorry, I should have explained that better

I must have missed it. Past week or more has been a blur.

I saw some of the details, but the most recent I saw (Monday?), it was still unclear where second will top out, but otherwise seems quite solid. Wonder how much it will cost vs a 1LE in March?

And more scca rules bizarrity further complicates the picture. Camaros may be able to run stiffer than normal stock springs next year. But maybe not. The rule text that went out in The notice yesterday may not have been the correct and complete text.

Why would that apply to just Camaros?

Does Ford have a dealer accessory catalog with uprated springs and such?

I mean, they have a whole parts catalog.

https://performanceparts.ford.com/do...PP_Catalog.pdf

Though it sounds like maybe the rule change is written in such a way that it applies only to the way Chevy sells parts? Which seems...dumb.

The wording is a little screwy, but Ford's parts would be the same if they are orderable with the car, delivered, and installed by a dealer. I think the catch is that parts need to be on the monroney.

Does that mean the BMW diffs would be eligible?

Can it be added to the vehicle order, or is it strictly an after the fact "we owe" dealer sort of thing(?)

I was under the impression that you could get it installed as a "port option," so it was put in before the dealer got the car. Not sure if it would be on "the Monroney" or a supplemental sticker or whether that distinction would matter.

Which is why the wording of the rule is crap.

They need to define "manufacturer option" and "dealer option."
