There was a Dakar up here at a cars and coffee and it's an odd looking thing in person. I don't really understand the conceit, but it's especially weird on the East Coast where there's literally nowhere to drive something like that.
Back to SCA's car; I guess I sort of like the black lip, just for contrast. One thing I don't like about the 992 and 982 is that big black rectangle on the front underneath the nose; it would be nice to have something to break that up. But the Sport Design look is too close to the 981 and too expensive; given all of that, I think the stock T look is about the best you can do. |

Same.
And I am glad they are making a decent enough run that some of them will actually get used and not squirreled away for speculators.

Yeah. I’m with you. I buy cars preowned so I can drive them.

I think the GTS is overrated. I understand that it’s basically how they designed the 992 and then they detuned for the S. I get all of that. But at $190,000 (which is what they actually cost), do you feel foolish when you see at GT3 Touring roll by? I would. and anything non-Turbo with awd is not actually fun to drive, folks. You are basically taking the baked-in preference for push at turnin and making it worse. Sound fun to anyone? No. It’s not.

i would assume it is because there is no speedster, the ST isn't on sale yet and the Sport Classic run is over?

Here’s a thread on some real-world 911 Carrera T’s.
https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1346...thread-25.html Fast way to see all of the things which a buyer should avoid. Like black wheels. And the cheesy aero kit. (Shiver) And some of the wheel choices. Ick.

I am relative active on RL. lemming I am curious how you would spec a 992 T given that you currently own a 991 T? When you have some time would you mind going to the T configurator and spec’ing one out as to how you would build one? Post or PM your build code/link too.
