Nice.

Working on new cars is the best. No rusted stuck or broken parts.

I know they are still German so not expecting japanese reliability but not a electrical lemon. Also these new GTIs are made in mexico but I hopfully ze germans have a good process in place.

So should I be scared about VW reliability?

Guys on the GTI forum says that this is the way it works. But I thought these sensors were to disable the airbags from smashing little kids. maybe that does not apply to 4 seat cars but then why even disable?

Called VW and starting the process to potentially buy back.

Frustrating since liked the car and installed the hitch. Don't want to go through the whole care buying process again.

Buy back in the lemon law they basically make you whole sense? Or buy back in the trade in and take a big loss sense?

Not sure what the exact CA lemon law requirements are, but doesn't it take a few unsuccessful repair attempts and/or minimum number of days off the road?
