Audi A6 Avant
So these really are coming. One is inbound to Atlanta. Pricey, though:

Back in the day I had the Audi A6 Allroad ... it was one of my favorite cars which is strange for me since I am not a fan of station wagons but it was so damn fast and had the cool air suspension so you could raise it up and down plus it had that weird kinda cool look to it. Not saying it was a good looking car but it was a look.
Glad to see they are bringing it back. |

This is definitely my favorite of the current crop of euro wagons. I havent liked the looks of the E class wagon since the W211 of the mid-2000s. Last gen one was too boxy and current one is too droopy.

No doubt the A4 was a funner car to drive, at that time I had a sports car as a fun to drive car and was looking for something more on the comfortable side plus the Allroad had a twin turbo 6 cylinder which was pretty fast.

For SUV's and wagons, I like boxy. Swoopy rooflines mean less space/capacity/flexibility - the whole point of these things. Big negative for the Macan (which was also too short). The Golf Wagon is pretty good, I'm not sure the current A4 Allroad has more useful cargo space or even more passenger room. I've always found the backseats of a4's & s4's tight and claustrophobic (and I've had a lot of them, with many many miles):
