Pre or post giant bumpers. I prefer the slime ones like 87 to 89’s. The 90-91 seemed bloated.

When I had mine back living in Santa Cruz a buddy had a mark 2 pre 16v either 85-86. Until the 16v came out I still preferred the rabbit.

Pre giant bumpers, 87-88, with the cuisinart wheels.

I had an 8V A2 and it was great fun but too slow. The 16V was all I wanted.

Like this one, which I apparently missed.

I don't understand how I can spend so much time on BaT and still miss cars like this and the Pug 205 GTi that was up for sale here in NoVA and went RNM.

The Z3 was accepted by B.A.T. today on a no reserve auction. I'm taking it in for inspection today and to get a bunch of undercarriage pics taken. It should be live by the end of the week. Wish me luck. The last two on there went for more money than I expected. It seems the lack of other car buying / selling outlets is helping BAT at the moment.

Hey, good luck! It’s a cool car, so it could do quite decently. Plus, people are stuck at home on the Internet all day. Probably the best time to get the most eyes on it; and it’s relatively affordable toy for someone with disposable income.

My thinking as well, plus entering perfect convertible weather season and people stuck inside and needing something to do will hopefully play to my favor. After seeing what a Z3 very similar to mine got ($15k) and a pretty crappy looking 1.9L car got ($8200) I'm pretty excited to see how this plays out.
