Ah.

Here's something annoyingly funny...the advertised price on their site for that car is about $500 less than x-plan.

Sounds like a good place to call to place your order.

I thought a Moonroof was able to open but a Sunroof was permanently closed?

If it were permanently closed, wouldn't it just be roof.

Notice that 5 of the 9 have "wow" prices that are the same as MSRP? The other 4 are all $2,100 below MSRP? Dealer stock numbers are a different format between the groups.

From Ford's site, they only show 3 STs at that dealer...sigh...

I now have a list of 68 Ford dealers within 130 miles of me to start finding websites and searching.

Just gotta stay focused...

That's 9 STs from all the Koons dealers in the Baltimore Washington area. And visible through that specific portal (they have a couple others that show smaller levels of inventory).

Sunroof is understood to be steel (a la e30), moonroof is commonly glass with a shade.

Enough for these guys to add $5k to MSRP on an ST2 car

I've gone to the websites of 30+ dealers and between them, they don't list more than 30 STs as in inventory or on order. The handful that are ST3 cars have all had sunroofs. Still searching...

Something tells me that you're going to have a hard time finding one without the hole in the roof. Presumably they are stocking the ST3 to have a "fully loaded" option for buyers....
