Austin private forum

The Admins here suggested that I create a private forum for our local discussions, I have done that and gave permissions to bonoboy, jetblack330i, jpgurl, killerdeck, and lartymarf.

If you're from Austin, or you just want access to the Austin forum, please send me a PM and I'll add you to the group.

Thanks!

Absolutely not.

Right now this board has a few hidden forums, not because we think the traffic is annoying, but because this is the "niche" we are trying to fill, in part.

See, right now there is two large groups of "locals". NCC North East group, and the Austin group.

We formed these groups not out of annoyance, but in order to allow you members the ability to share private information with other locals in a format easier to use than e-mail, and readily available for everyone.

The reason they are hidden groups is so that you can set up info, using number etc... without everyone on the board being able to see.

Think of this as a service for the members, not a reaction out of annoyance.

TD helping me form a fantasy sports private forum was out of annoyance... :P J/K...

Anyways, feel free to talk about local events or what not in the "keep it local" forum. But you're welcome to use the new austin forum to actually poll/setup/give directions/etc... or whatever.

I think you guys need a better name for the forum. Something clever.

How about "The Redneck Mother"?

Not bad.

Hey, talk about it amongst yourselves. It's easy to rename a forum.

It just looks so serious named as it is.
