Yeah. But get the Spyder because you live in the right sort of place and have the right sort of fleet to have a car that silly and cool.

Agree with the spirit of this too...lemming seems to be a bit heavy on Porsches so it would be to balance it out with some other stuff.

Totally understand the "issue" though. Objectively, a Porsche will likely do the job better and more reliably than any of the alternatives...so that will be the mental hurdle to overcome. But I think having some of those other experiences available in your garage (if possible) will be enjoyable and allow you to appreciate the differences.

Audi R8 V-10 Manual would be cool too. As a fellow VW product to the Gt3, I figure the reliability is decent. And they sound just insane.

In the end it is just where do you want your money parked ... my understanding is the GT3's hold there value and if anything go up so the reason to sell would be you have too many cars and not enough parking spots or just don't want so many cars.

Yes there is insurance and some maintenance costs involved when keeping them but obviously a guy with so many cars this really is a non issue.

So the real question is ... do you want that many cars ? If so you have your answer.

I’m a simpleton. When I had access to three cars—and more recently two cars—I found it somewhat burdensome to maintain them all, but more so to decide which to grab when I need to go somewhere.

There’s something liberating about having only one choice—and I’m lucky it’s a fun and livable single choice.

Plus, of course, it’s cheaper to just have one car.

It is difficult to argue with this. Plus keeping them all clean is also a royal PITA.
