I was thinking similar (BAT might be fun... but also might be more stress/effort than its worth) and it has a very finite timeline, which I like. I'd set a reserve that kept us safe and see how it goes. If it gets good money, great if it doesn' at least I'll learn a few things about the car.

I realize the fall isn't the best time to sell a convertible, and we're good holding it until spring, or longer, if it made sense.

Major want here. All the CLASSIC looks with modern muscle dependability.

I could do without the rear wing but otherwise wow!!

I don't know how much the color change will hurt this car. But it is a rare Cuda! (according to a friend that owns a yellow multi show winning hemi cuda convertible.)

He says without the color change it is easily a 6 digit car

I don’t think it started life as a Hemi Cuda. Who knows what the original engine was. This car now has a modern “Hemi” with a 5 spd manual. A resto mod probably worth a lot but not genuine real deal Hemi Cuda convertible money.

I don't know why, but I cannot get myself to like old American cars. Among the few exceptions are the 1st-gen Mustang and the late 1st gen (~1960) Corvette with the double headlamps.

In general they are POS. But since I grew up in early 80 high school were we ALL drove these then very depreciated muscle cars its more of a youth memory that draws me to them.

I still think sometimes about getting a 68-69 Camaro convertible with a V8 and a manual JUST for cruising but that’s about as far as it goes. I would never spend the money that most of these are asking knowing I had three of them in HS and I remember the crappy driving dynamics.

- 70 Charger 383
- 71 GTO 400
- 69 Roadrunner 383

I used to joke that my (non restored) 2002 could run rings around my (fully restored) Mustang.
The steering on the Mustang (post restoration) is miserable. Brakes are ok. Suspension - fair....

Back when I drove that car daily... I must just not have known better. LOL

I was excited for a second then saw it actually has an LS1, not an LT1. still neat, but it's not like this is the first one of these.
