BTW-- saw your post on bimmerfest; hate to brake it to you, but you're mistaken on the warranty... it already expired 3/30/06... it is 6 years from original in-service date, not 6 years from when you buy it CPO.

That's a little confusing to many consumers, including my sister who bought a CPO 325xi thinking she was getting a six year warranty.

I wish BMW made that more clear.

All of BMW's literature is very clear on this (even to the point of showing diagrams that draw out the warranty and CPO coverage periods). If there is any source of confusion, it is more likely untrained or dishonest salespeople that are sending the wrong message.

Sarafil is correct, I misspoke and now ebay won’t let me update the auction!! I plan to disclose this to the higher bidder.

Anyway… yes my wife loves this car, she wanted sporter wheels, tires, etc. so I talked her into a 2003 540i Sport… I pick it up this weekend.

…and yes, of course, my daily driver is the ’87 325is… I love that car!!

Can't you at least add a comment to correct it at the bottom?
