My dad had a Saab 9000 turbo in the 90s. You pretty much summed it up. It was very much fwd and you could feel it. And I remember driving on the highway when the fuel pump quit. The cooling system was also not up to par and the car would sometimes overheat. The headliner sagged, door seals fell off, etc. That being said, I do enjoy seeing the occasional original 900 every now and then.

In the early 90', I drove a friends 900 Turbo once.
Drove well - to a point. I remember one time getting on the gas when I was on a freeway on-ramp and... the torque steer was... uh... pronounced. Damn near took me off the roadway when the turbo kicked in. Kept me awake on that drive - LOL

In a case of total randomness, this C3 showed up in the alley with a no start condition. My neighbor and I laid hands on it and it fixed itself. Ish. The car is clearly the victim of a backyard wiring “expert.”

I saw (well, heard... then looked around and saw) my first C8Z06 today on the way home from work. With the body mods (and obviously the motor) it becomes a really desirable car for me, where the base C8 before was kind of meh.

I think the general public still doesn’t understand the differences between the driver assistance systems that Tesla and others offer vs level 4+ autonomy

I do want to try out one of these next time I’m in LA

Yeah the sensors are crazy, that is what caught my eye.

Was driving with my son last night and we saw a black McLaren F1 going the opposite direction. Pretty cool, hadn't ever seen one in person I don't think. Son thought it was really really cool
