I have a feeling that at some point in the future all of us will have some variety of Porsche. Except of course, for Clyde.

oh yeah that is expensive, thought it was cheaper.

That is one problem about used 911's, majority of them are dentist spec'd so the nicely optioned ones tend to command a premium.

Speaking of which... this just popped on the 1er board and seems really, really nice (981) and in Maryland:

Yeah, but every time you compare a porsche to a higher power front-engine car, I cry 'apples and oranges' and you say the latter is the better value. So I don't think you'll ever do it.

I'm not the value guy, that's Ed and his Miata rant.

I'm the I like a different car interaction than you do guy, I prefer low end torque and sloppy, top down back road fun.

To which you always reply I'm wrong, its worse and my opinion is incorrect.

What!? Misread. I don't think preferences such as massive low-end torque or sloppier (do you mean funner?) handling can be incorrect. It's clear to me that you have different likes, so I thought you would not be a p-car buyer.

I'm not going to preface every single sentence with "it is my opinion that". That much is obvious.
