E90 sighting

I saw an E90 yesterday, brand new with the temporary plate in the window. It was silver. Coincidently there was a silver E46 right next to it so I got a good comparison from all angles. I'm not liking the new 3. I'd take the "fat pig E46" anyday

I see one every couple of days. They are already pretty common around here.

Same here... although its getting to be almost one a day. As long as I don't see the kidneys or the interior, I really like the design. But once I sit in it or see the front, I have no interest in the car.

Oh... and my mom decided to get one to replace her '02 e46 cab. They are planning to do ED next spring -- so order won't actually be placed until around December.

Unlike the other recent BMW designs, I actually like the E90 more in pictures than in person. It's not nearly as fluid as the E46... or the E60, for that matter. The sharp side creases ruin it, as does the kidney design. I don't particularly care for the taillights, either.

I think I've come to the conclusion that I like the E60 better.

And although I acknowledge it's already starting to look a little aged, I think I like the E46 better, too.

I'll probably acclimate and flip-flop, though.

I've seen them a few times now. I agree that they look better in pictures than in person.

Hmm...I'd take one. Big improvement over my current daily driver.

There's one in my neighborhood now. Silver 325. Stick. It's needlessly creasy. The body lines don't flow like the E36 and E46 cars did. The grille is .. odd in person. Sort of a BMW caricature.

eh. WTF do I care. Not going to buy one anyway.

i am really starting to feel old whenever i see a "new" bmw on the road. i hate them all --but i feel old because i sense that young people must think that i'm just old and crotchety.

but then i'll see something like an e36 or e46 and say to myself, "i'm not old, the new e90 is just f*cking ugly".

the e60 still does nothing for me. i see the e90 and think "x-type jag" (that's not flattering) and i see an e60 and think (ohh, look at that camry with the funny front bumper).

The E90 is alright.

I think that it looks better than the facelifted E46, but not as good as the original E46.
