Nice.
I wouldn’t mind one of those. |

Yeah. The lights looked very Porsche-y, but I forgot that the Taycan existed when I was first trying to figure it out. It was obviously not a Panamera/Cayenne/Macan.
Edit: Also, he sure is doing well siphoning off that Lincoln Project grift. I hate that conservatives are figuring out how to grift off of the Democrats as well.

I don't mind the Lincoln Project guys. They're effective at appealing to a certain group of voters that remain uncomfortable with Biden/Harris and typical Democrat campaign messaging. They also seem to irritate the fuck out of the president, which is nice. I'll be interested to see what happens after the election (either way, but especially if Biden wins). Presumably they'll pivot back to being the opposition, which is fine--the country needs an opposition. I sort of hope their time on this side of the fence will make them more empathetic as opponents, but who knows? If it doesn't, that's a battle to fight another day. |

My assumption was they were targeting an audience of one.

July to september, they raised $39mm. That's a lot of money to mildly annoy Trump. And I really question whether or not anyone who wasn't already vehemently opposed to Trump cares about them.

I was being facetious.
TLP has done some really good ads, but Meidas Touch has been a bit better. Except their "after dark" ones, which are embarrassingly bad. |

And just by existing and being so forceful, TLP gives ideological top cover to people who might otherwise struggle to cross party lines. They are blazing a path that a lot of people can follow. It's easy to be cynical about them, but you typically don't win an election in the US without being able to motivate a coalition (something that I hope remains true in 2020). TLP is part of that coalition. And while $39m is a lot, I'm not actually sure it would have been better directed elsewhere. |

I also think most of their ads are pretty effective, but I'm not the target market.
It was one of their ads that led to me making my first ever campaign donations. One to Biden/Harris and one to Jaime Harrison. |
