I thought the same thing. Want to know something funny, though? That F-body generation has the same lug pattern and similar offsets. The centers need to be bored 1 or 2mm, but basically f body wheels are the aftermarket wheels X100 generation XKs have to choose from.

I keep being impressed by this little car. I've taken it out to job sites and it's handled that great. A 2 mile drive on a rough dirt road (though not pot holed) was surprisingly supple given how firm the car rides on the road. Pushing it a bit I was able to go about 40 mph comfortably, about 30-50% faster than the Maita and even our Forester.

And this weekend I hooked up the trailer made a number of dump runs for my aunt as we got her house prepped for sale. All the loads were about 1000 lb. (trailer and debris) which isn't much but the Juke pulled everything like a champ. Not only that but with a combo of state highways, 10% uphill grades, and a few miles of stop and go traffic it managed 20 mpg. On the freeway hauling the furniture laden trailer up to her new place it was returning 28 mpg on the flats.

Oh, and your welcome.

Yes yes, empty trailer, I was just parking it here to get it out of the way.

It's . . . different. From the right angle it can look ok and interesting. But others, well, it looks awkward from other angles. Yet it's growing on me. The sheet metal is heavily sculpted and in that regard its fun running your eye over the different bulges, swoops, sweeps, concaves, and lines. One of my favorite is the where the middle of the car swells out on the side between the front and rear wheels. Don't know why, but I like it. Yet it doesn't show up in photos and it's something you notice as you're approaching the the car from the rear parallel to the side, like when you're filling up with gas. It's definitely not boring.

Or how the rear hatch cuts so far forward when it opens. The other night my son and I had a late night picnic in the back (we got drive-through from two different restaurants that were closing). We popped the hatch up and folded the rear seats flat and I could sit back there with my head above the roof. Quite comfy and we were sheltered by the slight drizzle with a glass awning.

Also, inside, I really like the view over the hood. A lot of contemporary cars have a hood that drops out of view which I find annoying. I like to see the car in front of me. With the Juke not only do you see the bulbous projecting turn signal lumps, but also a fair amount of the hood as it stretches out in front of you.

Heh, yeah. . . you mean the "wine rack" lower front bumper valence or the weird bug-eyed main headlights (the round ones under the top turn signals). I don't know what they were thinking about with the front end design. I do like the truncated front and rear overhangs. Makes for a tidy package and good clearance. No worries about mashing the front bumper into curbs stops in parking lots. Though, that wouldn't likely make it look worse.
