I think I like the R8 better then the lambo

At first glance I would much rather have this car then an M6. The proportions are almost perfect and remind of a 348(Which I also love).

If given the choice in the 90K price range, this would be a definate contender for me(Z06 not withstanding).

And the sounds it makes.

Yeah, it's pretty cool, though 90K is euros, and I'd expect this car to compete with the Vantage/911 Turbo rather than the base or Carerra S--so, my guess is 115-125K.

The one problem with it is that it looks a lot like a new TT in the details (and, to some extent, the nose overhang proportions).

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. You're right, very much like the TT.

Well the prior TT looked like the jolly green giant stepped on a VW bug, so maybe this is what happens when you step on a TT.

Seriously though, the details are really nice. The reverse cut line in the side is just beautiful.

I hope they use the RS4 V8 instead of a detuned lambo V10. That might keep the price down.

there are a lot of cars in the world that i'd rather own than either of the aforementioned VAG products.

lamborghini doesn't do it for me. IMO, there's no compelling argument to buy one over a Ferrari. and the R8 is just a watered down version of a car that holds zero appeal for me.

when it costs more and is engineered less well than the 360CS, i hold zero interest in the car. i've sat in both the gallardo and murcielago now (italian car day) and it's interesting how the gallardo interior seems even NICER than the murcielago's, but nonetheless, both cars seem typical italian to me. lots of looks. zero heritage anywhere.

if i was going to personally get a superfluous car that had no heritage from racing or racing program direct transfer and it was going to be expensive, might as well try to legalize a Pagani Zonda. the gallardo isn't that exclusive a car, which sort of detracts from the whole point of it, doesn't it?

360 prices are coming down, and supposedly, the only year to avoid is 1999.

It will be a very tempting proposition when it drops to the price level of a current 355, since the maintenance is much cheaper.

A pristine 348 manual targa is my dream.
