Agreed. I feel like every time I peek inside a 991 or even a 997 around Boston it's got the auto. There is a woman in my neighborhood with a 991 Targa 4S 7spd though - it's sweet.

As IC cars eventually die, I can see me owning a GT3 in the future. Ideally a Touring, but some kind of GT3.

Yeah that's exactly what's piqued my interest. The window to acquire a gasoline-powered sports car at a reasonable(?) price is closing.

I have got some serious want for the below, BUT one issue, no manual equals no sale. FYI, I have wanted a 997.2 for years and I almost purchased a 997.1 a few years back when prices were in the $35-38k range. I just could not warm up to it as the 997.2 upgrades, especially cosmetically vastly improved the car for me. Now either version is really more than I feel they are worth.

Yeah, I've gone back and forth on whether I'd really *need* an S if I went the 997 route. Objectively probably not, but I also have enough self-awareness to know that it would bother me forever.

As far as PDKs go, it's really too bad that it's such a deal-breaker for me, because used PDK cars trade at a significant discount compared to manuals.

Sometimes I wonder if some of you enjoy thinking and talking about buying 911s more than you actually want to buy one.

My life has gotten a lot more boring since I bought the Camaro. There was a lot about the search I enjoyed...and I kind of miss the hunt.

I probably spend an hour a day browsing PCARmarket, BAT and various other car selling sites, just basically window shopping. Part of me wants to validate that I made a good purchase and I didn't miss out on something 'better', and part of me just enjoys the hunt.

When I start searches, I tend to buy things, so I try not to start searches.

I feel this way about real estate.

Have a contract on a house...stay tuned.

Yes to both for me as well. Big time. Especially for Boxsters.
