100% get the cognac. So nice looking. I am a sunroof guy so I would stick with that and lower my costs. Unless it’s raining it’s open on every drive. And yes the shitty interior choices on the F87 definitely makes it cave like.

SHMEE150 YT video review at BMW AG. https://youtu.be/BrwhXHS31Hc

Regarding the sunroof, I typically don’t open it because I don’t like all the dust and debris that comes in my spotlessly clean interiors. lol, but I will retract the shade if there is one available. Though now that I have mentioned it I rarely pull the shade in the X5 as my mother’s former X5 and another family member’s X7 have shattered their sunroofs. It is such a large piece of glass up there that it is risky.

Edit: I do seem to open the sunroof more often in the 911 because it is solid piece of sheet metal versus glass.

Yep. Been there/done that in multiple BMWs. I really like the red interior in my car. But, cognac is my favorite, really.

It appears that my family member is going to stick with their allocation for the time being.. Their current specs are Brooklyn Grey with M stitched black sport seats, bi-colored wheels, and blue calipers.

I really wanted Alpine over red if I am being forced to stick with the standard colors offered since individual paint is MIA. My E30 M3 is that color combo. I have had five BMWs with a red interior. ‘87 325is Alpine/Cardinal Red, ‘88 M3 Alpine/Cardinal Red, ‘99 Arctic Silver/Tanin Red, ‘00 323Ci Titanium Silver/Tanin Red, and ‘01 330Ci Titanium Silver/Tanin Red.

Yep, sure does. It comes naturally from my 79 year old mother.

Edit: BTW, I was formally like that about everything, but over the years I have dramatically reduced it to just my vehicles. Kids, pets, and age in general reduces it.

I love the Tacora shade in my GC--not too orangey at all. Almost a burgundy. Looks great with the cursed BSM paint and red calipers.

I like it as well! What I spec’ed for my father in his ‘22 X3.

I will say I am impressed with the starting price with what you get.

Used M2C prices are going to take a beating as they should. They have been super inflated.
