You must have missed the part about the wife wanting one. She can have one after putting up with the mini van if this is what she wants. She loved our first one and didn't want to see it go. She thinks she can handle schlepping the kids around in this one. So it's first on the list of big ticket toys.

it has different plumbing with dual exhaust ports (likely a single muffler, though, still).

Your extra net cost will only be a few hundred dollars, but it is a bit more effort. I had a customer that swapped after driving his MCS w/ tuning kit for a couple of days on the highway and HATING the sound, and he was extremely happy with the outcome.

I'd concur that the JCW tuning kit is not the greatest on the highway.
