That’s pretty cool. Not a fan of the Hummer branding, but as a technology statement it’s worlds ahead of that weird Cadillac version of the Volt.

Let’s see if they can deliver, and what they do about an 800V fast charge network.

This thing has no market whatsoever IMO. I don't see the point of it at all. GM would be better off designing an all electric work van/truck/vehicle for contractors that can benefit a wider audience with some of these features. Are the people who can afford this thing really going to use any of it's capabilities?

I can think of much better ways to spend $100k on a vehicle.

I mean, I would still much prefer this to the heinous Cybertruck.

I'm pretty sure that the point of this exercise is to plant a flag and show that they can.

If they could do this cost efficiently, it would be a different vehicle.

It is just like the cybertruck, obnoxious status symbol to driver around on the street

At least Rivian is working on such things as electric jerry cans to achieve long distance off-grid possibilities .

Plant a flag with this is another classic GM mistake.

The mistake that GM usually makes with this sort of vehicle is going in with a plan to sell a small quantity, doing really well, thinking that will translate into volume sales, ramping production, and cratering.

They went the other extreme with this.
