It's pretty cool and I do like the interior. I would find an i-6 though, I can't imagine the 4cyl is very engaging.

There's another one that's a six and is much, much closer (in MD) but will probably go for big money and I don't like the color as much. But it's probably the smarter play, to the extent either of these is a smart play (i.e., not at all). https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...-cabriolet-26/ |

As a fellow adherent to 1980s yuppie DB culture, I love e30 convertibles. I agree with JV that the gray 325 is the superior car here. They have been popping up on BaT quite a bit so you can probably hold out for the one you want.

The gray and tan really work well together. And tan is such a classic convertible color.

+1 I haven’t driven an E30 convertible in about 20 years, don’t think it’ll be an awesome handling car but think it would have a lot of character for what it is. I owned a E30 318i sedan that I bought off a family friend when I was in high school and was fun given my alternatives, but at this point I see zero reason to not get a 325 instead. I also love red with tan interior on these. It just completes the 90210 look. 😄
