No, my issue was that the Taycan drives like an imitation ICE car; if I want an ICE car, why not just buy one of those?

I've driven panamera S & 4S a long, long time ago, next to the 997.2's and 987.2's at Monticello. I don't remember liking them; in fact I would take a 5er over one. Or a Cayenne.

That seems like a good thing to me

LOL you're probably right !!

I haven't driven a Taycan, but I could see myself getting super annoyed that you need to press the brake to regen. I like the idea of one-pedal driving unless some emergency happens. Deal-breaker level annoyed, not to mention tons of trouble they've had with their roll out.

One pedal driving is incredibly stressful to me. I don’t get the appeal.

Fair point…it does seem really stupid that they couldn’t have just made it a setting

I would get a Panamera if I opened up the budget. For what I need in a car in the moment, a CPO Macan is the easiest.

Panamera comes with it a ton of cost. When a dealer takes one in for trade-in and certifies it for CPO, it’s horribly expensive for the dealer. The Panamera is just a money pit. So speaking to service advisors scared me off, ultimately.

I did some homework.

Interesting. Sounds like most German luxury cars though, no?

Yea probably not all that different from an S class or 7 series, other than higher average labor rates and parts pricing with the Porsche tax.
