Lighting/Bulb tech

http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...lbs/bulbs.html

I ran into this site about a year ago. I happened to run into it again and decided to link it because it is pretty great at explaining automotive lighting.

I thought some here would be interested.

That is a neat thing; that or something very similar to it from the same guy has been floating around since at least 1996, which is when I first ran across it.

That site also reinforces my theory of why the V70R's (HID) headlight high beams suck so horribly despite being quite good in low-beam mode.

The 987 has the best lighting of any car I've driven.

The low beams on the Jeep suck big time, and I want high quality halogens despite the low life. Looks like Philips X-treme power is even better than Vision Plus but lasts even less and costs more.

I'm trying to find a local place but it looks like I may have to get them online.
