I'm with you on this. It was my dream car in high school when it was out. The design is just timeless.

Did not realize they made 930 Targas starting in 87. Only about 300 total units over 3 years.

Everything I want is 40-50+ years old...
Never gonna happen: Ferrari 275GTB Aston Martin DB5 Might happen someday: 1955 Chevrolet Apache Truck 1959 Chevrolet Impala Likely happening in the next 2-3 years: Classic Mini Edit: Add a Singer Porsche to that 'never gonna happen' list. Last edited by jpgurl; 10-30-2014 at 11:23 AM. |

My sentiments precisely
I've had the good fortune to actually drive a lot of the cars lusted after in this thread and IMO, you can have them all, they all suck - have you guys driven mid 60's Corvettes, Ferraris with gated shifters, Dodge Vipers etc., on today's roads? It's awful. I'll take Jpgurl's cars, they suck too, but at least they have character - especially the 55 truck, my dad had the GMC version of that one. |

I still just want an M3 to drive the family around and a Boxster for fun.

I don't even know where to start to narrow it down to just one car.
The singer Porsche would be pretty cool. Of course I want a C2 vette, any year z06 (that I don't already own), a Gullwing Merc, an original Z/28 (hell, a new Z/28 too), a Shelby Cobra, plenty of Ferrari's, et. al. .... I think it would be fun to find my father's old '69 vette if I was really going to go wild. I don't think too many people are going to daily drive their "dream car". |
