Took delivery of this beautiful Camry , 1998 with around 80k. It was my wife's grandmas car and it was more beat up then I remembered.

Then I stopped by the VW dealer on the way home from soccer. Tried to escape but they got me to agree on a deal. Base 2018 GTI, car is while silver but to me sort of looks like flat grey.

Back to the OP, Only took me almost 4 years to get a VW. Sound like FC reliability wise the new 6/72k bb warranty is nice. Also negotiated in 5 years of maintenance. In my older years I like being able to ask my wife to take the car to the dealer without me having to deal with it.

I will say my first complaint, what the hell is with second being so long. Seems like I can go up to 100 with it.

Ugh, that's awesome. My dumb car only has 3/36, warranty-wise.

Congrats on the new gti, love the color ... something about that car just looks like such fun ... You just want to jump in it and take it for a fun ride.

Maybe I missed the comment but are you keeping the turbo ?

Still sitting in the garage and wife wants me to keep it. Most likely will try to sell it since not a fan of three cars but we will see how it goes.

Thanks guys
