I have to go back to config and select all of the nitty gritty options, but at the same time, i am self aware. I am terrible at this.
Your collective input is always welcome. But my Porsche Ambassador will finalize the build sheet for PASM, PDLS++ and other things I’m missing.

What do you think about the exclusive manufacktur aluminum pedals? I think they would look good on your build and before anybody mentions anything about slippage, they have a nano coating applied to them and the vast majority of the individuals that order them have stated that pedal slippage is a non-issue with the appropriate shoes (rubber sole).
Edit: BTW, PSAM is standard, guessing you meant SPASM? |

I just saw an option to click on PASM for $1000 —and I know I prefer the electronic damping. I will go back and look. I’m supposed to walk through the options at the dealer shortly. I don’t think I need RAS but it just seems so cool. But unnecessary. The PDCC I really liked on the Turbo S. But again, do I really need? And then FAL —is the S so low that I need this? So many options I am on the fence about. (Thank you for your thoughts)

You can add them to any 992 manual or PDK. I spec’ed them on my T. It is like a cave in the pedal box so that is why I added them. Plus I like the look of them too. I would skip RAS on a non-GT 911 that will be used primarily on public roads. Furthermore, it adds weight and complexity. Most of those on RL that reside in parts of Cali and the Northeast generally find FAL to be a waste of money even with SPASM. Once again, it also adds weight and complexity. FYI, a 992 T comes standard with SPASM, 10 mm lower. Edit: Your 992 GT3 has RAS. If I’m not mistaken, it is standard. Last edited by SCA; 12-28-2023 at 05:10 PM. |

Lemming, I added some things to your current spec. I did not remove anything.
https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PREQMGT8 Edit: I do not like the safety gizmos/nannies on a sports car, but I have repeatedly been told by Porsche SA whom has been at my dealer for 40+ years that if it is a convertible, you will want lane changes assist (LCA), aka blind spot monitoring since the visibility with the top up is less than favorable. Agree with SCA on including LCA and sport package, but leaving off the rear steer and various other safety nannies.
What about Sport Chrono? The mode selector on the steering wheel is nice to have, and the active engine mounts might be, too. |

Sport Chrono and active engine mounts are standard on a non-GT 992 equipped with a manual.
